The Serpents were creatures from the far reaches of The Stickworld. They first appeared in The Stickworld part 11.
The Stickworld Part 11 - A Strange New World[]
The Junior Serpent appears and tries to attack Mike when he is flying over the ocean, but Mike dodges it. Later, when Mike and the The Super R*tarded Magician are about to claim the Soul Stone, the Junior Serpent eats it, and the two fight it. They win, and its body explodes, allowing them to take the Soul Stone. However, the Serpent (it's just Serpent), the next of the Serpents, follows them, planning to avenge its younger kin.
The Stickworld part 12 - The Serpent[]
The Serpent arrives and attacks Mike's village forcing Mike and Mr Sheep to flee. On the way to The Creator's headquarter, they are almost killed by the Serpent. After leaving the headquarters, The Assistant warns The Boss and so he goes to face the monster. He almost dies but punches the Serpent; The Serpent crash-lands behind the Scientist’s fortress and gets destroyed. In the end of the episode, the Elder Serpent (this time the serpent is purple) is seen crossing the strange lands which Mike and Mr Sheep destroyed the Junior Serpent back in part 11: A Strange New World. This serpent is most likely coming for revenge of the Serpent as that is what the Serpent did when the Junior Serpent got destroyed by Mike and Mr Sheep in part 11: A Strange New World.
The Stickworld Part 13 - The Witch[]
The Boss receives word that the Elder Serpent is coming, so he sends the Assistant to deal with the problem. The Elder Serpent is amazed having never seen a stickman before. As such, they begin talking about stickmen. The Elder Serpent finds them fascinating and remarkable. The Elder Serpent introduces himself and explains that he is there to avenge his kin. He goes towards the castle, but the assistant says that the Boss is very powerful. A stickbot is sent out but it gets destroyed. The Boss shows himself and the Elder Serpent is shocked by how small he is that he could not have possibly defeated his kin. Just when the Boss is about to die, Overseer Lolph comes to his aid.
The Stickworld part 14 - Overseer Lolph VS The Elder Serpent[]
Overseer Lolph and the Elder Serpent start a fight. Overseer Lolph loses a lot of health especially when he gets slammed onto the ground. He continues fighting but he runs out magic. The Elder Serpent grabs and he rockets him up into the heavens and back down. He recovers his magic and breaks free, then slams into a head-on collision with the Elder Serpent using Meteor Burst destroying it.
The Stickworld Part 15 - The Dark Serpent[]
Some Time after The Elder Serpent's defeat, Overseer Lolph senses the overwhelming power coming from The Dark Serpent, and senses it coming to him. After a short talk with it The Dark Serpent grabs Overseer Lolph with its mouth. Overseer Lolph retaliates by shooting magic but realises its durability against it, Overseer Lolph dodges some lasers but gets hit by the wider Dark Energy Blast and loses nearly all of his HP. Lolph then taunts The Dark Serpent into running into the portal, and The Creator proceeds to fight The Dark Serpent, destroying its tail and beating it using his own Energy Blast, The Dark Serpent's remains are scattered to a nearby Cliff below.
The Stickworld Part 16 - Overseer Lolph VS The Ultimate Stickbot[]
The Dark Serpent's remains are deposited on the cliff where The Cliff 6 will take place. As Mike goes to build the soul container on the cliff, he sneezes upon sniffing the black dust, cleans the "black dust" off of the cliff and dumped it all at the bottom. The concentration of the Dark Serpent's remains caused its soul to take form, and it tried to escape, but it was stuck there, left to be absorbed by the soul container to fuel The One's power.
The Cliff 6: Part 1/2 The One Strikes Back[]
At the start of the episode, The Dark Serpent appears with a short cameo, emerging but collapsing right at the point the first stickman falls into the cliff. Shortly after The One took form after emerging from the soul container, The Dark Serpent emerged once more underneath him, and it collapsed again, but was absorbed into the soul container. It was then absorbed by The One, making him tremendously powerful.
The Cliff 6: Part 2/2 Overseer Lolph Vs The One[]
Given that the soul of The Dark Serpent was absorbed by The One, the demon now had the ability to transform into it. The demon, used the ability several times, including a time where it became an entity with the head and tail of the serpent but with its own body. The Dark Serpent could be considered to have been killed for good after the death of The One.
The Stickmen VS The Serpents[]
The Stickmen first face the Junior serpent and Purple and Grey (Illusion Magician) kill him. Then they face The Serpent. It evaporates the others and the platform and only Gray and Purple remain. They say that it is very fast and purple dies to The Serpent and Gray is the only one left. He creates his illusions and The Serpent swallows them and Gray. Then they face The Elder Serpent where he evaporates everyone and they die, finally they face the Dark Serpent but they die from his Dark Aura and lose.
Trivia[]
- The Elder Serpent is much more intelligent than The Dark, Junior and Normal Serpents due to being capable of speech.
- The Dark Serpent does show some form of intelligence by being capable of reacting to Lolph's taunt and waiting for Lolph to finish his monologue, showing signs of Patience.
- The Dark Serpent is very determined to avenge it's kin, being able to materialize sometimes for a short second in The Cliff 6 1/2.
- The Dark Serpent's Remains was scattered onto The Cliff where Mike builds The Soul Container.
- The Dark Serpent was then absorbed by The One at The Cliff 6 1/2.
- The first three serpents were based off of the Junior, Senior and Elder Centipedes from the One Punch Man anime. (Confirmed by Zeruel82MK2 through email)
- Furthermore, the Dark Serpent may be also based off of the Elder Centipede, as in the manga, it had a fully black carapace.
